Information you give us
- Contact details, such as your name and email address, when you join the waitlist, request our investor deck, or contact us.
- Health and lifestyle information you choose to share with the Nutritica app, such as goals, habits, meals, and notes.
- Lab results and wearable data, only when you explicitly connect or upload them.
Information collected automatically
- Basic usage data, such as pages visited and features used, to improve the product.
- Device and technical information, such as browser type and approximate region.
How we use your information
- To provide and personalize Nutritica, including your daily guidance.
- To contact you about early access, updates, and things you asked us for.
- To improve our product, safety, and science.
- To comply with legal obligations.
What we never do
- We never sell your personal data.
- We never share your health information with advertisers.
- We never use your story against you.
Health data, handled with extra care
Health and lab information is among the most sensitive data you can share, so we treat it differently from everything else:
- Health data is encrypted in transit and at rest and is stored separately from marketing contacts.
- We only process it to deliver features you have asked for, such as your daily guidance.
- We never use identifiable health data to train models for other people without your explicit, revocable consent.
- You can export or permanently delete your health data at any time, and deletion is honored end-to-end.
- Connections to labs or wearables are opt-in and can be revoked, which stops future syncing immediately.
Nutritica is a wellness product, not a covered entity under HIPAA. Where health-privacy laws such as HIPAA or GDPR special-category rules apply to a given feature, we will meet those obligations before that feature ships. See our Security page for how we protect this data.
Sharing
We share data only with service providers who help us operate (such as email delivery and secure hosting), under contracts that protect your information; when required by law; or with your explicit consent.
Security and retention
We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit and at rest, to protect your information. We keep your data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us and we will respond promptly.
Children
Nutritica is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update this page and, when appropriate, notify you by email. The date at the top reflects the latest revision.
